Jimmy Kimmel Cancels Brooklyn Taping Due To Hurricane Sandy

Jimmy Kimmel took his late night show to Brooklyn for the week, but has been forced to cancel tonight’s taping due to the threat of Hurricane Sandy.

ABC released an official statement which read, “We are hopeful to be back on the air tomorrow night with Howard Stern, Tracy Morgan and Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings.”

JKL isn’t the only show which has been canceled for the evening due to the super storm,  The Daily Show and Colbert Report have also cancelled their tapings as well.

Jimmy Fallon and David Letterman will both air new episodes tonight, though they may be a bit eerie, as both will film their show’s without a live studio audience.

Also due to the storm, which has reached record levels in lower Manhattan, Broadway has gone dark for the day, canceling all shows.

Stay inside, safe, and dry, New York!
