Just one day after the news from Miley Cyrus’ father, Billy Ray Cyrus, came out that she was planning three weddings, the singer/actress has pushed those rumors aside.
Cyrus appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show to reveal, “This is the one day when it’s what I choose and every detail is things that I love… There is some rumor going around that I’m having like 47 weddings. I’m not. I’m having one wedding. That’s my day and whatever I want on that day will be about me and that moment… That’s what I picture, that moment when he first gets to see me in my dress and everything all together.”
“It has to be perfect. It has to be like the soundtrack in like a movie. It’s the one day that that movie c**p is real. That romance. That look (between the bride and groom) is the time that you get that.”
As for how soon she’ll be walking down the aisle, Cyrus tells DeGeneres it may be a while. She reveals, “I don’t want to in between touring and trying to plan all that. I didn’t really realize until I got a wedding planning book what you have to decide on. Like, I don’t care what color the napkins are to be honest… It’s a lot of weird detail.” “I don’t want to be doing too much and be crazy.”
