Lindsay Lohan Charged With Lying to Police in June Crash

Lindsay Lohan and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day!

Aside from getting arrested this morning in NYC on charges of assault on a woman at a night club, Lindsay Lohan has been charged in LA as well for a previous mishap.

Six months after Lohan crashed her Porsche into an eighteen wheeler in Santa Monica on the way to the set of the (flop) Liz & Dick, the actress has been charged with three misdemeanors by Santa Monica prosecutors.

The charges are for obstructing or resisting a police officer, lying to a police officer, and reckless driving.

At the time of the accident, Lohan told officers her assistant was driving the vehicle, but during the investigation, it was found that Lohan was the driver of the Porsche when the accident took place.

This could hit Lohan hard when she faces Judge Saunter over her probation check up, because she was still on probation when the June 8 crash occurred.

To top it all off, the latest incident in New York will be tacked on top of it all when she faces the judge again.  Her probation expires on May 2014, and back in March the judge warned that if she violates any laws before then, she is looking at up to 245 days in jail.

It’s pretty clear she’s headed for lock up again, it’s just a matter of when, and for how long.
