Madonna has announced her 2012 world tour! The tour will begin on  May 29th 2012 in Tel Aviv, Israel according to the official tour promoter Live Nation Entertainment. As for the North American portion of the tour, Madonna will be invading Philly on August 28th  and other highlighted dates  include a September 6th show in NY’s Yankee Stadium and an October l0th performance at LA’s Staples Center. The reviews are in on Madonna’s Half Time performance, and they all seem pretty positive! The Queen of Pop took the stage at half time of the big game yesterday, and was joined by  LMFAO, Nicki Minaj, M.I.A, (and her middle finger) and Cee-Lo Green. Madonna has been hard at work this week rehearsing for her Super Bowl half time show in Indianapolis. Britney Spears has taken the top spot in sales for her latest album, ‘Femme Fatale.’ selling 276,000 copies in the first week. This is Spears sixth number one album release, which ties her with Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson for third on the all time list of number ones by a female artist, only trailing Madonna with seven and Barbara Streisand with nine. We wouldn’t be surprised to find out she has a few more number one albums left in the tank either! Do it Brit!
