Congratulations Tim Burton on another smash! Burton’s Alice in Wonderland has went on to become the number ten movie on the list of highest all time grosing films, passing The Lord of the Rings sequel, The Two Towers, which brought in $925.9 million dollars the year of it’s release. Alice topped that number by $3 million, bringing in $928.9 million worldwide, and snatching up the number ten spot. ‘Dragon’ De-thrones Alice

Finally a movie has knocked Tim Burton’s  Alice in Wonderland off it’s high horse. Dreamworks’ How to Train Your Dragon 3-D won the weekend bringing in $43 million dollars, way ahead of it’s competitors. Alice still pulled through in second, making $17.2 million dollars in it’s fourth week. The hilarious Hot Tub Time Machine, though it got rave reviews this weekend, came in third only bringing in $13.6 million.

For the third week in a row, people are flocking to Wonderland. Tim Burton’s ‘Alice’ has won the top box office spot for the third straight week, beating out the weekend’s new films. Alice raked in 34.2 million dollars this weekend, bringing it’s domestic total to $265.8  million and it’s worldwide gross to $565.8 million. Another Chart Topping Weekend For ‘Wonderland’

For the second week in a row, Alice in Wonderland blew away the box office competition to take the top spot. This weekend’s total was $62 million dollars at Sunday’s close, bringing it’s domestic earnings to around $208 million dollars. Pair that with international earnings, and Alice has raked in a whopping $428 million total! Burton and Depp’s ‘Alice’ Wins the Weekend

As if there was to be any question what movie would win the weekend, Alice In Wonderland did not disappoint! It was the biggest opening for director Tim Burton ever, bringing in $116.3 million dollars from Thursday night to Sunday, and it also gave Disney the highest grossing 3-D opening ever, beating out Avatar. We’ve yet to see it yet because Disney’s El Capitan theater was sold out the entire weekend, but we have only heard great things! What did you guys think?

Wow, that Beatles rock band thing was nothing. Check out the just released trailer for Tim Burton‘s Alice in Wonderland and please promise me you won’t try to fly off the roof of a building while watching it. Tim Burton is one of those filmmakers who is no longer that good but who can somehow cast a spell on me with a good trailer. It’s like I have Burton amnesia.
