Nick Lachey will be joining the cast of CBS’ number one new show, ‘Hawaii Five-0′ tonight for a one episode run. In the series 17th episode of the first season titled “Powa Moka Mona”  Lachey will star alongside his real life fiance, Vanessa Manillo as  Susan, a deckhand on board the catamaran during the attack, and her fiancé, Tyler. It’s another made for TV movie, but work is work in this economy! Jennifer Love Hewitt is teaming up with hot commodity Betty White for a Hallmark movie titled The Lost Valentine. The film is set to air on CBS, and will air in early 2011. Jennifer will play a journalist working on the story of a woman ( Betty White) whose hubby was declared MIA during WWII. Sounds like it will do okay! Espeicially with Betty White as the top billed actress!

Rachel Bilson is returning to CBS’ How I Met Your Mother, it was confirmed today. Bilson, who appeared in the Neil Patrick Harris headed sitcom earlier this year as Cindy, will be reprising her role for the upcoming season premiere, according to the show’s creator, Carter Bays. In fact, Bays explained that “The season premiere is going to be very much informed by her presence.”

Have no fear, Two and a Half Men fans, the show WILL go on. Despite it being reported that Charlie Sheen’s plea will result in his spending some time in the Aspen Slammer, the next season of Two and a Half Men will not be affected by it. Sheen is reportedly going to start his sentence some time next week, and the show will not go into production until August. Sheen was sentenced to 30 days in the clink, but with good behavior, it will likely be reduced to 15-17.

The American Pie alum has just been cast in a CBS pilot called ‘True Love’ where he will play Henry, a lawyer who falls in love with a stranger (played by Minka Kelly) while in a long-term relationship.
