He’s a regular on Gossip Girl, starring in the remake of Foot Loose, and likely a poster on many girls bedroom walls. All contribute to the fact that People Magazine is naming Chace Crawford as their hottest bachelor in an issue to be released this friday. Who he beat out? Well he beat out Twilight’s Robert Pattinson, Star Trek’s Chris Pine, American Idol runner up Adam Lambert, and Transformers star Shia Labeouf. This is so much more boring than the Maxim Hot 100!!

Chace Crawford Confirmed for Footloose.

All the chatter can finally be put to rest. Chace Crawford has been officially confirmed to reprise the role of Ren McCormack as made famous by Kevin Bacon in 1984′s Footloose. Paramount announced the news officially yesterday, and the film will be directed by High School Musical coreographer Kenny Ortega. Crawford was in contract negotiations for a while, but had to work out something that would not conflict with his Gossip Girl schedule.
