ABC, Courteney Cox, and the rest of the brains behind Cougar Town have admitted since the beginning that it was the worst name choice for a show in the history of Television. In a new skit for Funny Or Die, the cast was brought in to suggest new names. Unfortunately for the show about a group of friends in Florida, ‘Friends’ was already taken. Not the greatest news for Courteney Cox. Her ABC series Cougar Town will be back for a third season, but not in it’s full capacity. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show has been cut from 22 episodes to 13 for the upcoming third season, which a premiere date has not been announced yet. The situation has still yet to be revealed, but Courtney Cox halted production of her hit show Cougar Town in order to deal with a private family matter. ABC released the news in a statement, and will be patiently waiting to start back up on a show that has brought them such good ratings this season.
