Elizabeth Taylor is going in for heart surgery, CNN is reporting. The eldest of the Michael Jackson/ David Gest/Liz Taylor/Liza Minnelli look-alike crew says she’s just getting a leaky valve fixed, so doctors will just use a clip of some sort. The Oscar winner tweeted: “It’s very new and involves repairing my leaky valve using a clip device, without open heart surgery, so that my heart will function better.  Any prayers you happen to have lying around I would dearly appreciate....

Finally, Michael Jackson has been laid to rest. Last night in Los Angeles, Michael Jackson was buried in The Great Mausoleum at the famous Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale. The graveyard is host to a slew of famous Hollywood celebrities, including Humphrey Bogart and Mary Pickford. Elizabeth Taylor is reportedly in the hospital again, after reports last week said she was only there for a routine visit. Elizabeth Taylor has been a long time activist and contributor to the HIV/AIDS cause, but President Obama has inspired her to turn her attention elsewhere to another cause for a change. Taylor has recently donated $100,000 dollars to the Alliance for Christian Education. Despite being in a wheelchair, Elizabeth Taylor got all dolled up and attended the Macy’s Passport benifit auction and fashion show for HIV/AIDS. The 76-year-old Elizabeth spoke to the crowd at the Santa Monica Airport during the event. This was one of her first public appearances since getting out of the hospital earlier this summer.
