Fantasia Barrino was able to reach a last minute settlement deal with those whom she owed money and was able to save her house from hitting the auction block this afternoon. After some financial troubles in 2006, Barrino had to borrow $68,000 from a management company to pay her taxes. When she stopped paying them back, it was the sherifs department who stepped in and was to auction off her 1.3 million dollar home to help pay her debt. Luckily for Fantasia, this deal will allow her to keep her home. ...

Former American Idol winner and eight time Grammy nominee Fantasia Barrino must be having some trouble payin’ da bills because the bank is foreclosing on her $1.3 million dollar North Carolina mansion. Barrino has until January 12th to come up with the cash before her home gets auctioned to the highest bidder. This is the EXACT story line from the Brady Bunch movie.  If only Fantasia could win a singing competition to make enough money to own a home like this…oh, wait… No worries...
