  Penelope Cruz is the new face of a PETA ad that will fly high above New York Fashion Week. Halle Berry will be the latest actress to cross over into the shoe industry. The Oscar Winning actress will be designing a range of shoes German label Deichmann, who happens to be Europe’s biggest shoe retailer. The collection, to be called 5th Avenue by Halle Berry is set to be launched in the U.K. next month, and includes more than 40 limited edition pairs or shoes.

New Years Day started out with a little drama for Lindsay Lohan. The actress was forced to dial 911 when a man began knocking on the door of her Venice, CA home demanding to talk to the actress. The man reportedly refused requests to leave the property, and was arrested by police for trespassing upon their arrival to the scene. From there he was taken down to the station for questioning.
