Millions tuned into Glee last night for the long anticipated Britney Spears episode!  13.2 million to be exact! It’s the shows highest rated episode ever! We have to admit, the storyline was not their best, but the musical numbers made up for it. Heather Morris killed it as Britney.  By the way, doesn’t she remind you of Ke$ha when she’s all dirtied up like that and out of her cheer-leading uniform?  We think she needs to do Tik Tok! One thing that made no damn sense though!...

Glee creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed to Ryan Seacrest on the radio this morning that Britney Spears will be appearing on the upcoming episode of Glee that is dedicated to the singers work. “Britney, I think 100 per cent, is going to be on the episode.” Murphy also tells Seacrest that the episode will feature a series of dream sequences which will include the performances of Brit’s hits. Fans of the hit show Glee are steaming mad again after an American Idol run-over costs them the recording of their shows final number  if forced to watch it on DVR. Last week, the same thing happened, when host Ryan Seacrest took Idol 2 or so minutes past it’s end time, forcing  Glee to end 2 minutes late, forcing DVR’s to cut off promptly at the end time. Fox has a number one new show with Glee but hold on to your pocket protectors gleeks because another new batch of singers is moving back into town. Glee will take a mid season pause on December 9th  and be off the air all the way until April 2010!!! Why the long break you ask?  It’s because American Idol is back starting in January.
