Just when you thought celebs were being generous by donating a million or so to the relief efforts in Haiti, Ryan Seacrest and Larry King came along. Further proving that Seacrest is the heir to the King throne, also joined by Ben Stiller, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden,  the grand total of money raised last night on CNN was almost 9 million dollars! Seacrest took to his twitter page this morning with the news; “Just got a call from cnn. here are the final numbers raised from last nights show.....

It’s not necessarily a bad thing that celebs are probably trying to ‘one-up’ each other with donations to Haiti relief, but shockingly coming out with one of the highest we have seen yet, is Brazilian born super model Gisele Bundchen. Gisele has handed over 1.5 million dollars towards relief aid after a 7.0 quake has caused mega damage over the past week. 7.0 Quake Strikes Haiti!

Parts of Haiti are under a tsunami watch this evening after a 7.0 earthquake struck near the capitol city of Port-Au-Prince. According to CNN, there was little information regarding the quake’s damage, but according to Haiti’s ambassador, Raymond James, the suffering inflicted on the impoverished Caribbean nation was likely to be “catastrophic.” The Associated Press has reported that a hospital has collapsed.
