The first weekend numbers for Russell Crowe’s Robin Hood were impressive, but no match for the man in the iron suit! Crowe’s new flick debuted this weekend bringing in $37 million dollars, but settling for second place. Iron Man 2 continued it’s reign at the box office by adding $52 million to it’s grand total of $212 million world wide. nearly $40 million in the first week is pretty darn good tho!

As projected, Iron Man 2 won the weekend at the box office! The sequel to the superhero flick brought in a little over $128 million dollars in it’s opening weekend! In second, Nightmare on Elm Street came in under 10 at $9.1 million. Exprect Robert Downey Jr. and co. to truck on for a few more weeks to come.

In addition to IM2, Middlebrook has booked the role of Yngvi in the 2011 film Thor, Starring Natalie Portman, and Samuel L.
