Jennifer Lopez has released a new video for er new music video with Wisin & Yandel for “Follow the Leader.”   Lopez is sporting a large chest tattoo in the video with the word “lidere,” Spanish for leader, as well as a tat with a dragon on her back. American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe announced this morning on the radio with Ryan Seacrest that Jennifer Lopez will be back for next season of American Idol. Jennifer Lopez turns 42 today! Besides the fact she looks stunningly beautiful for 42, there’s big American Idol news on the brink. According to a source, Lopez is real close to a contract to return to Idol next season, and it’s likely to happen any day now. This comes amid news of her split from Marc Anthony, which was shocking news when it was revealed a few weeks back. The couple have twins together, and seemed like a happily married couple. American Idol Premiere Ratings Are In

American Idol premiered last night with the debut of Jennifer Lopez and Stephen Tyler at the judges panel. Though the numbers were down about 11% from last season, we watched, and it was better than we expected. The judges panel is solid, but it’s not Simon solid.  Will we tune in to all the other episodes? Some. It’ll be interesting to see what happens when all the horrible auditions are gone , and things get real in Hollywood. What did you guys think?
