The film stars ‘The Social Network’s’ Armie Hammer as The Lone Ranger and  Johnny Depp as his faithful sidekick Tonto.   It’s classic Johnny Depp in character, which almost guarantee’s he nails the role! Even though the reviews for ‘Pirates of the Caribbean 4′ may not have been the best, people were out seeing it in full force this past weekend! The film’s debut brought in $90 million dollars in the United States, and a HUGE $346.4 million dollars world wide. There was no stopping Johnny Depp this weekend, even when he’s playing a lizzard! Rango took the top box office spot, bringing in $38 million in int’s first weekend. Rounding up the top three was  Matt Damon’s ‘The Adjustment Bureau,’ which raked in $20.9 million, and Vanessa Hudgens’ ‘Beastly,’ which earned $10.1 million. As if there was to be any question what movie would win the weekend, Alice In Wonderland did not disappoint! It was the biggest opening for director Tim Burton ever, bringing in $116.3 million dollars from Thursday night to Sunday, and it also gave Disney the highest grossing 3-D opening ever, beating out Avatar.
