Marking the two year anniversary of his release from Rikers Island in November 2012, Lil Wayne will release ‘Gone Til November,’ a memoir of his time behind bars. Wayne will revisit the eight months he spent behind bars on weapons charges dating back to 2007. It will be very interesting to see what life behind bars is like for someone like Lil Wayne. A must read!

Lil Wayne After Party Evacuated After Pepper Spray Scare

Lil Wayne had a scary moment at a concert after party in Canada, after the building had been filled with pepper spray. Someone, who was obviously not a Lil Wayne fan reportedly snuck into the after party and released pepper spray into the air ducts. Party goers had to be evacuated, including Lil Wayne.  There were no reported injuries or complications. A rep for Wayne has reported that the rapper is “okay and gearing for his next stop in Toronto.”

Lil Wayne is a free man! After serving out eight months of his one year sentence on a weapons charge, Wayne walked from New York City’s Rikers Island prison this morning. His release was originally pushed back until tomorrow morning due to one instance where he broke the rules behind bars, but whoever  is in charge must be really feeling that their iPod has gone stale, and is itching for some new Weezy, because they let him go Thursday morning as planned.
