Officials To Lil Wayne: Cut The Lawn!

Lil Wayne has been ordered by Louisiana officials to cut the lawn at his mansion after the grounds have become unkempt. The rap star has been issued with a citation from officials in the New Orleans suburb of Kenner, Louisiana for letting grass and weeds grow up around his $1.7 million mansion. According to The Times-Picayune, Wayne has racked up fines of $3,635 for grass , weeds, and litter at the house, which he purchased back in 2006.  The most recent violation marks the fifth time the rapper...

Rapper Lil Wayne is teaming up with Mountain Dew to build a skate park in his native New Orleans. Wayne will front a campaign with Dew, including a series of adverts as well as appearances to create awareness for the new NOLA skate park. An avid skateboarder himself, Lil Wayne has used some of his time while not on tour to visit skate parks across the USA. He will also be launching his own line of clothing aimed at skateboarders later this year.

Lil Wayne had a scary moment at a concert after party in Canada, after the building had been filled with pepper spray. Someone, who was obviously not a Lil Wayne fan reportedly snuck into the after party and released pepper spray into the air ducts. Party goers had to be evacuated, including Lil Wayne.  There were no reported injuries or complications. A rep for Wayne has reported that the rapper is “okay and gearing for his next stop in Toronto.”
