Horrible news!  Sofia Vergara’s man, Nick Loeb, was injured bad during an automobile accident in LA yesterday. However, he’s going to be okay. The Modern Family actress tweets: “Thnks everybody,Nick is doing very good. Pelvix fracture ,lots of pain but he is going to be ok. Gracias!!!” That’s good news!

The Emmy nominated Modern Family actress is talking plastic surgery! And she’s comparing everyone in Hollywood to Madonna! Sofia tells the new Esquire Magazine: “L.A. is crazy. The women all look the same now. That thing with the cheeks. Like Madonna. Who do they think they’re fooling? It doesn’t make them look young. You end up looking like a freak.” Sophia adds that she’s not totally against cosmetic procedures, but that she just has to draw a line somewhere.

ABC’s hit series Modern Family has been featured in the latest “For Your Consideration” section of Variety, where they promise that should the Emmy voters choose Modern Fam as this years outstanding comedy,  Actress Sofia Vergara will streak down Sunset Blvd. in her birthday suit. ABC Wednesdays are ratings gold! Courtney Cox’s Cougartown, as well as Modern Family, and The Middle have all received full season pickups from the house of mouse, after a strong first two weeks in the ratings department. The Thursday night hit Flash Forward got the go ahead as well. Is ABC back at the top again with 4 weekday hits? Also what about that Kelsey Grammer show?  No good?

So I’m a little late on this (blame Tivo) but I caught ABC’s Modern Family last night. A sitcom on ABC was actually funny? What am I saying? Ed O’Neill (aka Al Bundy) plays a dad who has a new wife and step son. The new ABC Wednesday night premiered last night and came in stronger than expected. (4.3 adults 18-49) As with all premiere weeks, next weeks numbers will be the true test, but with  Ed O’Niel’s Modern Family and Courtney Cox’s Cougartown actually being pretty dang good It wouldn’t be surprising if the viewers come back for more.
