Former Desperate Housewives actress Nicolette Sheridan has dropped a bombshell lawsuit against creator Marc Cherry. Sheridan, who’s character of Edie Britt was written off the show is suing Cherry for 120 million dollars in a wrongful termination lawsuit, but on top of that claiming that the shows creator slapped her in the face over a script dispute, and then fired her when she complained to the shows producers. ABC has announced tha Desperate Housewives star Nicolette Shedian will be leaving the show. TV Guide was first to report of the news, but an exact reason for her departure was not given. If you remember, Sheridan was rumored to be leaving the show once before, and it was all set up like suicide for her character, Edie Britt, but when the next season arrived, it’d been unsuccessful.
