Samuel L. Jackson has been clean and sober for 17 years! Jackson overdosed on crack-cocaine in 1991, and after being hauled off to rehab “kicking and screaming” it all ended up for the better. Jackson has even avoided playing certain roles over the years that would require him to be around anything that may trigger a relapse, such as lighters, and pipes. Samuel L. Jackson is about to turn the ripe age of 60 this December, so why’s he practicing for his drivers test? Apparently Sam’s worried the DMV is going to be out to get him. Apparently the California driving authorities will randomly select a bunch of sixty-year-olds to re-take their test just to make sure they are still okay behind the wheel, and Jackson want’s to be prepared incase his number is called.
