A spokesperson for Simon Cowell has responded to the reports that he made a comment during a dinner party with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown that when he passes he will pay to have himself frozen so that when science finds a way to bring people back from the dead, he will be able to come back. American Idol 8 is right around the corner.  January 13 to be exact.  Who’s on Simon Cowell’s wish list for this season of celebs performers? Paul McCartney, Beyonce, and Britney Spears. Though McCartney has refused to appear on the show over the years, both Bey and Britney have performed on Cowell’s UK singing contest, X Factor. Britney will be on tour for most of the Idol season, but her schedule does run through LA while Idol is still taping so I guess we’ll find out.
