You can almost title this “insert city here” with Snoop Dogg, but it’s another marijuana arrest to add to the list.  This time, Texas. Snoop’s tour bus was searched during a routine border crossing, where drug sniffing dogs found marijuana on board. According to the report on TMZ, officers found series of rolled joints in a red prescription bottle in a waste paper bin. Chace Crawford was cleared of drug charges on Tuesday when he upheld a Texas Judge’s request of staying out of trouble for a year. Crawford was arrested in June 2010 for possession of marijuana in the parking lot of a Texas bar, and has completed 80 hours of community service as part of his punishment, volunteering at a  hospital and a church. Officials at the Solid Waste Service Department in Austin, Texas were looking for a new identity. So they’ll be naming themselves after something that sounds just like trash… Fred Durst! Kidding, of course. But really!  The Austin department is set to be renamed as The Fred Durst Society of the Humanities and Arts. The city had it’s residents vote for a new name, and the Durst Society won in a land slide by over 10,000 votes! What an honor!

Celebrities  recently visited the haunted Driskell hotel in Austin Texas to participate in a charity poker tournament benefiting the Miracle Foundation. The event was put on by the Entrepreneur’s foundation of Central Texas and some of the celebs players included Kevin Connolly, Shanna Moakler, Tami Ferrell, Jennifer Tilly, Heather Graham, Shandi Finnessey, Beth Shak and Patty Duke.
