NBC Planning Dwight Schrute Spin-off From The Office

NBC has a plan in the works that would bring Rainn Wilson’s character from ‘The Office’ to his own spin-off series.
The show would center around Dwight Schrute, and his family beet farm according to the reports from Deadline, and would tentatively launch in 2013.
The Schrute family beet farm and bed & breakfast has been featured on several episodes of ‘The Office’ stemming back to season 2 of the show, and would be the setting of an episode of the current season...

An inmate in a woman’s prison in Wisconsin was so adamant the communal TV not be tuned to The Office that she pulled the hair of the inmate who was in charge of the remote. The inmate, Shacoya S. Crawley, now faces new felony charges stemming from the incident.
