Thank you ‘Barry’ much to whoever decided to keep Drew Barrymore as far away from The Twilight Saga as possible! Drew was in the running for a directorial position when the third Twilight film goes into production, but after interviewing a short list of candidates, Summit Ent. has went with Spanish director Juan Antonio Bayona. Bayona is most known for directing horror film, The Orphanage, and will beging shooting Eclipse shortly after New Moon wraps in order to have the third film ready...

New Eclipse Director Revealed.

Thank You Jeezy, Drew Barrymore will not be directing the third film in The Twilight Saga. New Moon director Chris Weitz will be handing over the reigns to his brother and partner Paul. Chris Weitz will be busy in post production to have New Moon out by it’s November 20 release date  while the third film is shooting. Eclipse is set for a June 10, 2010 release.

As previously mentioned, The Twilight Saga is going to be seeking it’s third director for the third film, Eclipse, due to the studio’s plan to rush it out by June 2010, and there’s one name at the top of the rumor list that needs to GTFO the top of the rumor list. Unlike other movie series’ that are adapted from a book series, Twilight fans wont have to wait year after year for the next film to come out. As New Moon will be released on November 20, 2009 as originally planned, sources are claiming that the third film, Eclipse, has already been given a tentative release date of June 30, 2010. MTV news broke the story on the second Twilight film last evening, releasing the first logo for the film, along with it’s official full given title.
