Beyonce announced she was pregnant with her first child last night at the VMA’s, by showing up to the black carpet with a 3 month baby bump! B and husband Jay-Z have been rumored to be trying to have a child for a long time now, and it looks as if it’s finally going to happen! One thing is for certain, that kid is going to have some pretty powerful parents, and a lot of money! Congrats to the happy couple!

Lindsay Lohan did not accept rapper Pitbull’s invitation to the VMA’s on Sunday night, leading us to believe she’s still not pleased with the use of her name in Pitbull’s hit song. Lohan is pursuing a lawsuit against the rapper for use of her name, but Pitbull brushed off the lawsuit, saying he was shocked because he was not trying to slander anyone while mentioning the troubled actress. Katy Perry has earned herself a 10th VMA nod this week. MTV has added a new VMA to this year’s award show, for the Best Video With A Message. Perry’s ‘Firework’ will go up against, Eminem and Rihanna’s “Love The Way You Lie,” Pink’s “F**king Perfect,” “Make it Stop (September’s Children)” by Rise Against, Taylor Swift’s “Mean,” and “Born This Way” by Lady Gaga.

It was hard to tell the difference last night between MTV and Cartoon Network, with the overarching look was cartoon character chic. Whether intentional or not, all the artists and attendees looked either drawn or painted, coinciding perfectly with the lack of anything real or of worth at the VMAs.  There was a lot of bright orange people wearing every color of unnatural hair.
