Where The Wild Things Are Wins At the Box Office

The Spike Jonze-directed children’s book classic Where the Wild Things Are won big at the box office, bringing in an estimated $32.5 million on its opening weekend. Forty-seven percent of the audience was estimated to be adult viewers, showing that adult nostalgia is fueling a lot of ticket sales. Paranormal Activity wasn’t far behind it though, with $20.2 million this weekend, and its budget was far below that of Where The Wild Things Are.
