RIP Farrah Fawcett
Charlie’s Angel star, Farrah Fawcett, passed away Thursday morning shortly before 9:30 am accompanied by long time partner Ryan O’Neal.
Fawcett had fought a long battle with anal cancer. Although mostly well-known as an “Angel,” Fawcett only did one season of the show and then left the series to pursue a film career. She was also extremely popular as a pin-up girl in the 1970’s, selling millions of posters dressed in a red clinging swimsuit.
“After a long and brave battle with cancer, our beloved Farrah has passed away,” said O’Neal. “Although this is an extremely difficult time for her family and friend, we take comfort in the beautiful time that we shared with Farrah over the years and the knowledge that her life brought joy to so many people around the world.”
Fawcett was 62.
