FBI Investigated Anna Nicole Smith as a Potential Murderer
FBI files obtained by the Associated Press show that in 2000 and 2001 Anna Nicole Smith was investigated by the FBI as being involved in a possible scheme to kill Pierce Marshall, the son of her deceased sugar daddy husband.
Pierce Marshall had blocked Smith’s access to J. Howard Marshall‘s millions (that were rightfully hers, IMO) in a case that ultimately went to the Supreme Court. Those millions provided a good motive for wanting Pierce Marshall dead, but the FBI will able to find little else that would connect Smith to any murder plot. Marshall the younger died 3 years ago of natural causes (but was it really?).
The FBI confiscated a .357 Smith and Wesson revolver, a 3.5 inch knife, and one of those stupid felt Cat in the Hat hats from her home. Lord knows why they took the hat- was there a bureau costume party and the agent had nothing to wear?
The investigation turned up nothing incriminating and was dropped.
