Two doctors are being investigated for prescribing painkillers that led to Heath Ledger’s death last month. Federal drug investigators have focused on medics in Texas and California who are believed to have supplied the actor with OxyContin and Vicodin, New York’s Daily News reports. Authorities want to know if the drugs were prescribed illegally. “it’s an ongoing investigation,” a law enforcement source told the News. “It’s not clear if there was any wrongdoing.”

I really don’t think it is appropriate to mention Heath Ledger and Anna Nicole in the same sentence. They were two totally different people and their deaths, contrary to popular belief, were extremely different. Anna Nicole was obviously on drugs long before she died from overdose. Ledgers was unforseen and is highly likely to have been an accident.
