Jackson Tour Merch Goes on Sale

JACKSONSTORE

The Michael Jackson farewell tour that was schedule to begin July 8th at London’s O2 arena was canceled due to the singer’s untimely death only a few weeks ago.
The 50-concert show entitled “This Is It”, was set to break records in terms of both artistry (22 different sets, collaboration with famed Hollywood choreographer Kenny Ortega) and it’s $20 million production cost.
And thought the tour will never happen, the merchandise lives on.
The Michael Jackson store is selling an assortment of MJ related goods, from cool T shirts, an ugly Ed Hardy ripoff hat, to kooky items like a sleep mask with imprinted with his eyes from the “Dangerous” tour poster.

AEG Live, the Los Angeles based tour operator for “This Is It” has said that fans can either get a full refund or receive their actual ticket with graphics designed by Jackson.  (That would be a very expensive hypothetical ticket for a show you never attended.)

Ticket sales for the concert series were reportedly $85 million.
