Well apparently she was left bitter after a steamy lesbian love affair on the set of The Brady Bunch back in the 70s!
Okay maybe not, but back in 2007 when Maureen McCormick joked about a love affair between her and co-star Eve Plumb while promoting her book, Here’s the Story, Eve apparently thought it no laughing matter and cut herself off from all things Brady.
McCormick, who was recently writing blogs for Fancast.com, wrote that all six kids were asked to do a special reunion on Oprah this September, but there was still one hold out.
“All of us said yes except for one person, Eve Plumb, who used to be my best friend but now apparently wants to distance herself from the show and, most troubling, from me … I have no idea why, unless she’s mad at the joke I made a few years ago that we’d had a lesbian love affair. I made the crack to be funny — and for shock value. I’m sorry if she took offense.”
So whats up Jan’s butt to deny the Brady faithful the reunion they deserve? According to her stick in the mud rep, nothing! In a statement released since the blog Plumbs rep says “No one from ‘Oprah’ called. We haven’t turned down anything. There is no feud.”
Sounds more like she’s bitter tha there was no lesbian fling!
That or shes upset Oprah hasn’t reached out to her but has reached out to Marcia. Marcia Marcia Marcia!
