In no way does Ryan Seacrest seem like he only does this or that for the money, but he must be doing something right for the mega bucks he’s getting from American Idol.
As pay raises are the theme of these latest Idol contract extensions, including Simon Cowell’s 144 million, the shows famed host is getting in on the action too.
Ryan recently inked a deal to stick around for 3 more seasons for the price of $15 million per season!
That’s $45 million for the next three years, three times what he was making in seasons past.
This new deal surely makes him the higest paid reality host on television, and secures his spot as one of the kings of television.
Now if only he’d bring back the frosted tips and “seacrest, out.”
No new deals for Randy Jackson, Kara Dioguardi, or Paula Abdul yet, but it makes sense as Idol had to lock it down with their important pieces first.
