Dave Matthews Band released their new album this week (June 2nd), “Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King”.
Waves of mellow sax tipped by sharp squeals, rolling drums, and the whisper of a piano: all these play a fitting, almost haunting introduction to the tribute album for the lost member of the crew.
Last August, Dave Matthews Band suffered the devastating loss of brother and founding band member, LeRoi Moore, who passed away on August 19, 2008 from complications stemming from a June ATV accident. The new album is dedicated to LeRoi and celebrating his life.
