Billboard will honor Beyonce by bestowing her with the title of Woman of the Year. I just now got used to writing 2009 on my checks- this is a little premature, Billboard. Kelly Rowland has still got 4 months left in the year to outshine B. Hey, it could happen! Give the girl a chance!
The award will be given to Beyonce at Billboard annual Women in Music event October 2.
Past winners include Reba McEntire and Ciara.
Just another random award Beyonce will have no use for until the Destiny’s Child ladies come around, and Beyonce will casually hint at the honor just to rub it in.
