Thom Yorke‘s music, apart from maybe five Radiohead songs, is unlistenable. So is throwing a Red Hot Chili Pepper into the mix going to make it any worse? Yes, probably.
Hitfix reports, via info gleaned form the Radiohead website, that Flea will join forces Thom for at least two shows next week at the Orpheum Theater. Oh man. Drawn out atonal robot noises with a funk bass base. Since the word “supergroup” is being thrown around in reference to this unlikely alliance, let’s throw the Mars Volta into the mix. If this band distracts its members from making more music with their other bands, I wish them both success and the addition of Linkin Park’s singer on back-up.
