Pure Springsteen: Boss Won’t Skip a Track in Concert

If you go to see Bruce Springsteen, hearing “Born in the U.S.A.” is par for the course, but what if your favorite songs from that album are “Cover Me” and “Darlington Country”? Just go on the night he’s performing the Born in the U.S.A. album in its entirety! And before you even ask, of course I just went to Amazon.com and looked up two song titles to reference here. The closest thing to a Bruce Springsteen record I own is the Killers’ second album.

Bruce and his E Street Band will perform an album in its entirety at each of their five sold-out shows at New Jersey’s Giants stadium. They’re doing “Born to Run” and “Born in the U.S.A.” twice each and “Darkness on the Edge of Town” once. Plus other songs, too, I’m guessing. (A nine-song concert sound kind of like a rip-off.)
