When pregnancy rumors start flying around a celeb, the star is usually quick to dismiss the evidence of a baby bump-claiming it’s only too much good food, not a baby. No one believes that line because celebs don’t eat food. But when Padma Lakshmi starting showing a bit of a bump, it was quite believable that her belly was from her Top Chef tasting duties and not from a baby. We were wrong!
When in doubt assume pregnancy!
The Top Chef host is expecting her first child with an unknown baby daddy.
Lakshmi has endometriosis- a condition which makes periods a bitch and conceiving very difficult, so her baby is considered something of a ‘medical miracle’.
