Six music blogs – Pop Tarts Suck Toasted, Masala, I Rock Cleveland, To Die By Your Side, It’s a Rap and Living Ears – have been wiped off the net in their entirety by Google. Hosted by Google-owned Blogger, the six sites were on the receiving end of multiple complaints regarding their content. This does not mean people kept writing in to say “Stop posting Sufjan Stevens songs.” It means record companies complained about them posting Sufjan Stevens songs. The solution is clear: we must kill Sufjan Stevens.
Don’t feel too bad, though, the GOOD mp3 blogs on the net are still posting away: nahright.com and discobelle.net continue to offer not-Sufjan Stevens music for free. Check ’em out.
