With the news that Simon Cowell will NOT be returning to American Idol next season, many celebs have thrown their name into the hat.
One who hasn’t but may be Idol producers main target, is Paula Abdul, according to a report.
Paula left the show after last season, and since ratings are way down this season, show bosses are expecting an even bigger drop when Cowell leaves.
A source explains to inTouch; “They’re not sure if she’d be the fifth judge, but they are talking to her. People tuned in to see Paula’s wacky antics and her chemistry with Simon. The show is just not as much fun to watch without her.”
Personally, we don’t think a 3 female and 1 male judge team would work, and they had enough trouble making time for 4 judges, 5 will be a nightmare!
