David Hasselhoff has finally spoken out about his alcoholism, in which he has been treated for in the past, and since relapsed.
But the Hoff claims he wasn’t drunk all those times you’ve probably accused him of being so. He says;
“Unfortunately, I did have a brief relapse, but part of recovery is relapse. I am a recovering alcoholic. I knew as soon as I went into rehab, my reputation would be ruined. Things used to be different back then. If you asked for help you lost your good standing. Back then all the celebs smoked and drank. Just think of Richard Burton or Humphrey Bogart. No one questioned them. Consumption used to be acceptable.”
Probably true, but long gone are the days where there was no YouTube to have your drunken antics posted on.
