The music world was rocked last week when Phil Collins reportedly announced his retirement, after battling with some health issues over the past few years.
In his FHM interview, Collins said “it feels like a good time to stop for a while,” which many people took as a retirement announcement, but his U.K. rep has revealed on Monday, “He is not, has no intention of, retiring,”
For the time being, Collins is enjoying staying home and spending time with his five children. He explains; “I’m spending a lot of time at home with my kids,” he said last fall. “That’s really what I want to do and take some real serious time off.”
This is great news for the sake of any Phil Collins music ever coming out again. We’re glad he’s not hanging it up yet!
