It’s not you’re average high school musical, so we’re going to be seeing a new side of Vanessa Hudgens this summer.
Vanessa has signed on to play Mimi in Neil Patrick Harris’ production of Rent that will run for three nights at The Hollywood Bowl.
It’s Harris’ directorial debut, and he had this to say about V;
“She came in for a work session, and I must say, Vanessa really impressed. She looks amazing, has great vocal chops, and seems really committed to honoring the somewhat iconic role of Mimi. I look forward to audiences seeing a dark, edgy, and very different side of Vanessa Hudgens this August.”
