Many celebs have been in the running to become television’s new Wonder Woman, but it has now been confirmed that Adrianne Palicki has been cast for the role.
The 27-year-old actress is best known for her role of bad girl Tyra Collette on ‘Friday Night Lights,’ which just aired their series finale on DirecTV a week ago. She has also appeared on an episode of The CW’s ‘Smallville’ alongside Clark Kent.
Palicki will take on the role of Wonder Woman, and her true identity, Diana Prince, for an NBC pilot.
The original Wonder Woman aired on television from 1976 to 1979 and starred Lynda Carter in the iconic role.
