‘Battle: Los Angeles’ took home the number one spot at the box office this past weekend, beating out ‘Mars Needs Moms,’ which many thought would be a heavy favorite going into the weekend.
The final numbers were in, and ‘Battle’ has earned a weekend topping $36 million dollars over the weekend to take the top spot.
Last week’s top earning film, ‘Rango,’ managed to hold on to the second place spot, bringing in $23.1 million, while ‘Red Riding Hood’ rounded out the top three, with $14.1 million.
