The Numbers are in!
The numbers are in for the first week of sales for Heidi Montag’s album, Superficial.
Soundscan is reporting that she sold…. 658 copies!
Ummm… not even sure what to say about that. There are over 10 million people with accounts to the iTunes store, but not even 1,000 of them were interested in the clean version, or the explicit version of Heidi’s album. Not even all the plastic surgery hype that came at the most convenient time could help her sales!
Heidi put over $2million dollars into the album and once said she was confident to outsell Michael Jackson and make the money back with first weeks sales.
Sad sad sad!
Better luck next time, at least the numbers won’t be hard to beat with any improvement. Sort of a kick in the self esteem though.
