Viewership for last nights Vice Presidential debate between Sarah Palin and Joe Biden soared way higher than that of the Presidential debate between Barack Obama and John McCain last week.
Why? Because America’s got a new superstar and her name is Sarah.
Whether it was tuning in to see her stumble over answers to the issues as she has previously done in network interviews, or to watch her make a statement for her running mate and hold her own against the veteran Senator, Americans care far more about what Governor Palin has to say.
According to Neilsen ratings, the VP Debate was up 42% from last Friday’s presidential debate
Political know-it-alls are scoring this one both ways with a slight edge going to Senator Biden.
According to the citizen polls, both candidates saw a rise in their credibility from before the debate. The people also voted Biden as the Winner, but Palin as the more likable candidate.
As for how Tina Fey and Saturday Night Live will go after Sarah Palin this weekend? She didn’t give them their usual amount of hilarious material, but I’m sure they will think of something.
I hear they’ve even enlisted Queen Latifah to play the role of the debate moderator.
