According to a statement released by the publicist for former American Idol contestant, Jennifer Hudson, the actress/singers mother and brother have been shot to death inside their Chicago home.
The statement states; “We can confirm that there is an ongoing investigation concerning the deaths of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, Darnell Donerson, and her brother, Jason Hudson. No further comment will be made and the family has asked that their privacy be respected at this difficult time.”
In addition to such a terrible act, Hudson’s 7 year old nephew Julian is missing. An amber alert has been issued for the area.
One man has already been taken into custody and is being questioned about the shootings, but no charges have been filed yet.
