More headlines this week for Paula Abdul! This time, not so much about obsessed fans.
Laborers at the rumor mill are making chatter that Abdul is looking for her way out of American Idol, saying she’s got a secret project up her sleeve, and that this could be her final season on the hit FOX program.
Some are claiming her dispute with Idol is over money and the fact that they just hired another female judge, Kara DioGuardi, but her people are saying she knows that any season could be her last, and she’s working on something now that she’s super excited about.
Does Palua really think she can do something better than Idol?
Sounds to me like she knows the hiring of the new judge is her cue to head for the door, but not with out the one season transition period. At least she’s thinking ahead for the future.
As for an update on obsessed Abdul fan, Paula Goodspeed, who reportedly commited suicide outside Abdul’s home earlier this week…
Family members have started speaking out, saying they don’t believe she’d commit suicide, that she wasn’t obsessive over Abdul, and that she changed her name from Sandra to Paula simply because she liked the name. I hope they’re at least making money off of these interviews.

yup of course it is over money. and in the end, i am 100 % sure paula will stand as the winner and will return for season 9. the show wouldnt stay nr 1 or even top 10 without paula, just look how much attention shes getting. nobody else from idol can get this much attention. and AI wants and needs it!
