Pete Wentz had his first post baby interview with Ryan Seacrest this morning on Kiss FM and though he said that he felt like he was going to have a heart attack when Ashlee was in labor, it was all worth it the first time they saw their son.
Wentz calls his wife a saint, for the fact that while he was going through his brief panic stage at the hospital, even from her bed moments before giving birth, she took care of him and made sure he was ok.
Pete says, “She’s a amazing girl. She was like, ‘I will make sure you’re OK,'” he added. “I didn’t even stop to think, ‘Well, you just had an epidural and you’re about to have a baby!'”
Next up was the birth, Pete explains the moment as surreal, saying that when she had the baby she remarked, “he’s beautiful, he’s perfect,” and that the couple was “instantly in love, it’s impossible to not be.”
As for the name, Bronx Mowgli? Pete explained that it’s tough because all these people are trying to find up for reasoning behind it, and think they know where it came from, but that he doesn’t think anybody really does.
