Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke will NOT be returning to direct New Moon, the sequel to this years vampire romance thriller, Twilight.
Because the studio is pushing forward with the movie to give it a 2009 release. Apparently Hardwicke has better things to do.
No, but for real she was not expecting such a march forward approach with the movie only three weeks in and had other things lined up already.
That’s too bad, though I’m not a Twilight fan or have seen the film, I know what a new director can do to a good series.
